Lack of Honor

We seem to have a lack of honor in our nation and it seems to be everywhere; in our schools, businesses, government, military, non-profits and even sports teams. We have kids cheating on tests and other kids helping them in conspiracy.We have Internet websites to help kids cheat and buy term papers already completed. In our businesses we see corporate executives switching jobs every 3.2 years and taking their knowledge to competitors.

We see many court cases on this theme each month in America's top Fortune 500 Companies.Our government certainly has a lack of honor from our own Justice Department on down, lying under oath, selling secrets to spies and using government monies for private expenditures? Where is the honor? Where did it go? Does no one stand for anything anymore? Last year 35 Border Patrol Agents, law enforcement personal and National Guardsmen were caught assisting drug shipments and coyotes over the US-Mexican Border, the same border they were suppose to be enforcing. Where is the honor in that?.We just watched the Enron Trial finish up and we saw that one of the leaders of the company after being found guilty said that he was innocent and that God must have a plan for why he was found guilty? Interesting so he dishonored the company, our laws and his own religion? Where is the honor I ask, where did it go? Are you honorable? Think on this in 2006.
